A Life In Christ

Your life in Christ should not be an event

on Sunday morning; it should be a lifestyle throughout the week. Your

life in Christ should not be represented by your Sunday school, church, small

group, Bible Study, necklaces, bumper stickers, and yard signs, but by how God

is expressing His life through you. Your spiritual activities are nothing

but kindling for feeding the fire of Christ’s life in you. Your life in

Christ should be clay that is being sculpted into a beautiful and powerful

testimony through the power and work of the Holy Spirit in you. 2

Corinthians 4:7 says it this way, “But

we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is

from God and not from us.”

The faith mentioned here is not passive, but active—a faith that believes God’s

truths, trusts God with all things, and is willing to step out in faith.

Seeing “the

love you have for all the saints”

is not merely talking about love, but allowing God to actively love others

through you. This is a manifest love where lives are cared for, the

lonely and outcast are included, compassion is shown, and the love of Christ

extends beyond your personal rights being violated. Live your life

passionately for Christ so that Christ’s life in you is the living Word of

God to others!
